The National Housing Trust (NHT) invites registered service providers to submit tenders for the provision of garbage disposal services, at the Emancipation Park.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The services include:
- Provision of one (1) four cubic yard (4 yd3) skip (bin) for the storage of garbage;
- Collection and disposal of garbage at least three (3) times weekly by 6 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;
- Removal of tree cuttings, (4) times monthly;
- Emptying of skips, as required; and
- Provision of a Roll-off/Roll-on bin for the removal of tree cuttings, as required.
LOCATION
The property is located at the intersection of Oxford Road and Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston 5, St. Andrew (along Park Boulevard).
ELIGIBILITY TO TENDER
Tenderers must provide:
- Evidence of tax compliance
- A copy of a valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) registration certificate in the category of Transportation and Haulage - Garbage Collection and Disposal

Bid packages are available for download from the GOJ’s e-procurement website at e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm, from Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
RETURN OF TENDERS
Bid must be submitted online on or before Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 am; opening of bids will be done online via the e-procurement website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm on the same day, immediately following bid submission deadline.
“The NHT reserves the right not to award a contract to any party with whom it is currently in litigation or with whom it has been previously involved in litigation.”
